This is an old fashioned recipe from a country cookbook. I have not been able to get the magic 100 biscuits it suggests, but 90 is a good number 😉

5c self raising flour

1 tin condensed milk

500g butter

1/2 c sugar

Soften the butter and beat with sugar until thick and creamy, add the condensed milk and flour (1 c at a time). Beat slowly until combined before adding the next cup. Place in fridge for 10 mins to cool. Divide the mixture into 4 and wrap each section in cling wrap before returning them to the fridge. Using one batch at a time, add your favourite ingredients or cut into shapes. Suggestions include chocolate chips, m & m’s, roll into small balls and press back of knife handle into centre of biscuit, fill with jam, roll small balls in coconut or cinnamon & sugar or hundreds and thousands. Bake in moderate oven 10-12 mins or until golden brown. Use a egg slide to transfer to old newspaper to cool completely.
